Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it showed how he human mind works. Even though it was just an intro to psychology. At the end of the semester, I loved researching a psychological disorder. There's a lot of memorization involved in this course. I did learn plenty about how the brain functions.

    Course highlights:

I loved researching a psychological disorder. That is our end of the year project. When we were discussing psychological disorders, we watched a movie about a man that had Schizophrenia. That movie was mind blowing. I also enjoyed learning about how sleep is processed. It is a big process that does not et talked about enough.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be patient with the teacher. Keep up with your work. The teacher will only have a problem with you if you refuse to do your work. Study for the quizzes. Believe me, I thought they would be easy but they were hard. Make sure to be involved in class discussions. Just most importantly follow directions. Thats all the teacher really wants you to do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Psychology has always interested me because the human brain is such an important part of who we are. Mrs. McLeay is also a great teacher who who understands that a little bit of fun in the classroom never hurt. She is knowledgeable about the subject and teaches it well.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the different types of mental disorders and disabilities. It was informative, interactive, and interesting. You get to pick a mental disorder and do a project on it that involves making a piece of art to go with your project.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to pay attention in class and start studying when she mentions a test or quiz. Take the notes and do the homework. This class isn't one you can procrastinate in.
