    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is great as a foundation for any college math class you will need. Mrs. Atkins is an amazing teacher and is so dedicated to the course! You will have so much fun learning in the environment that she creates.

    Course highlights:

Towards the end of the year, she decorates the classroom with a different theme each week and makes treats for everyone according to that theme! We then complete questions related to the theme, which makes the math so much more fun!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be afraid to ask questions! This is the best way to have all of your questions answered in the most direct way. She will answer them effectively and will make sure that you understand the concept to the fullest extent!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Atkins is possibly the best teacher to walk the planet. She makes Calculus, one of the most difficult high school courses, incredibly simple to understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned about derivatives and integrals. It was easy to learn and I use them in Ap Physics C now.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and do the homework. If you don't, you will struggle and you will not succeed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although the class sounds hard and can sometimes be hard, you learn so much in there. I can honestly say that AP Calculus AB is one of Rhodes classes that keeps you on your feet in a good way.

    Course highlights:

Over the course of the class, I not only learned a lot of math concepts, but I also learned to be organized. To be in that class, you have to be paying attention at all times or you will miss something. It keeps you on track and your binders organized because one missing assignment can drop your grade.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to take really thorough notes, and write the examples she works out on the board. Also, be really organized; do not forget to do homework or keep your binder organized.
