Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class to everyone regardless if they have an interest in anatomy at all. The teacher is by far one of the best and has a lot of knowledge to be offered. Most kids boil the decision down to the environmental science course and the anatomy course for their last science credit, I would chose anatomy every time.

    Course highlights:

Each of the twelve body systems are discussed and broken down. The most interesting for me was the musculoskeletal as I find muscles and bones fascinating. The practical application during dissections in the second semester makes the work put in during the first semester more than worth it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The course involves tons of memorizing. Therefore, highlighters, sticky notes, practical applications, notes on the notes, and lots of questions to clarify are NEEDED to be successful. It is impossible to be successful in this class if no work is put in.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Estes is a very interesting teacher who has chosen to teach the most interesting class. This course will not leave you bored. It's filled with all sorts of fascinating information about the human body and how it works. Not to mention how collaborative and social it is.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were whenever we were at the lab tables. We had the chance to put our heads together and learn in a collaborative format. I learned not only how the body works through dissection, but also how to work as a team and how to be inclusive.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always take notes, and take pictures of diagrams. They are very important! Also do not be afraid to ask questions. Mr. Estes is not afraid to answer them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class because Mr. Estes is a great teacher and explains things in a very helpful manner. He also does study groups a couple days before a test and reads and answers the test questions to us. Also he lets us write down the questions and answers which when you go to take the test it is an easy A+ because you have studied all that material and understand why the answer you put is the right answer.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the skeletal part of our body. I learned all of the technical terms and where every single bone is.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed pay attention during his lectures and go to the study sessions!!
