    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course as it helps enrich students knowledge about America and helps them learn about the country's beginnings and the paths the world's greatest leaders crossed to lead America into such success.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about the creation of the Bill of Rights and Constitution, the famous World Wars, and the Civil Rights Movement. What I learned was mainly comprised of America's history and the steps they took to get past issues and achieve greatness.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, stay organized and on top of your work. Never procrastinate on homework or studying for important quizzes and tests. There is a heavy amount of information to learn about America and the country's history, so it can be easy to become confused and mix thing up. Make sure to always ask your teacher for help if confused about anything and read your history book to stay on task!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great class! You really learn many things about our US history. However, the teaching style can be less than helpful for many students. This makes the class frustrating and difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned the value of time management, since we wrote so many papers so frequently! I also learned how to take huge amounts of information and process it enough to get a good grade on tests.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to the teacher to ask for ways to improve your papers. Also, watch YouTube videos that go over the topics you cover in class.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The entire course is contradictory. You can learn everything you need on the test from your book and totally ignore the teacher all class and still pass.

    Course highlights:

I learned another way of studying and that a teacher doesn't have to test you on what he said. He can test you on anything as long as you have it at your disposal and you need to be ready.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book chapters. You can zone out as much as you want in class, but make sure you read, even if he doesn't tell you to. It's the reading that he tests on, so make sure you know it.
