    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's eye opening. Even if you are not a finance or accounting major, this course teaches you more than just being super proficient in excel or crushing any math equations that come your way. By the end of this course you'll be completing any businesses' finances with your eyes closed. You'll know excel inside and out and be able to financial workbooks on any company in your sleep. It teaches you how to be an excellent time manager and study really well on your terms. Organization is also a neat skill you'll pick up. It's also a crucial skill you'll need.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the big assignments. Being able to put everything into solid form from all the work leading up to it. The stories the professor gave were also enlightening as well. I gained a lot of real world lessons as well as tough assignments that prepared me for what the business world after college is going to look like.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I'd give to students considering this course is to never procrastinate at all. It will just kill you in the long run. You have to be on top of everything in this course. Organized and not afraid to speak up. Ask questions if you don't understand and early if you need help early. You can easily fall behind and it'll be too late to salvage anything. Form study groups and study all the time and practice. This course is something you have to practice the assignments more than once to comprehend it and all the knowledge and information gained will be crucial and beneficial for you in the business world if that's your career path. Any career path because everything deals with finances.
