    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a freshman, this is my first time taking this course but so far it has been great! It is an advanced course class and it is very fast paced which would seem like it was all stress but it is far from that. I have always loved English and this course makes me have more appreciation for such an amazing subject. This course is also the most convenient class for a student that wants to stay on track and finish their English requirement on their first year.

    Course highlights:

Again, I am too still taking this course but the highlights so far would be the assignments. I know it sounds a bit suspicious for me to claim that the assignments are the highlight of this course but it is the absolute truth! The assignments are very intellectual and as a person that loves to think and analyze this is the perfect icing on the cake.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A very helpful advice would be to really prioritize work and never turn to procrastination. If you can do these two actions you will be a golden student in this class. Also, simply enjoy it, learning is fun and very exciting, just enjoy the course!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I felt like this was not a course that I would recommend. At least not with this Instructor. The class was good and important. I have yet to have a class that was not. But class was cancelled more often then it was in progress. I was worried most of the semester that I wasn't going to pass the portfolio at the end of the semester because I felt like class was cancelled so much that I wasn't learning anything. I stand by the fact that I learned nothing from this instructor. But I did manage to pass the class. So if you want an easy class this is the class to take.

    Course highlights:

Mostly this course was just a way for me to keep my feet wet in the writing department. I didn't really learn anything and I wasn't challenged.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If it is at all possible take it with a different instructor. The class is great. And it is important to know how to write and read accurately.
