Not too easy. Not too difficult.

I would highly recommend this class. The atmosphere of this class is very positive. The professor himself is very engaging and very funny. This class is a class i would take a million times over again.

The highlight of this course was definitely the professor. He is always making the class laugh and no matter what he is talking about you can not help but listen.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was incredibly well organized. The professor creates an accepting but also very open environment allowing anything that is not an attack on another to be said or pointed out. He is very energetic and personable and always willing to help when asked.

    Course highlights:

The different stories we read were all incredibly educational, however I would say that a specific story Brownies was the most touching to me. It showed an event where a little African American girl discovers that racism can be perpetrated on anyone when her friends in the African American troop attack the other troop of white girl scouts because of their skin color.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the stories once then go back and read them again much slower. Make sure to do the homework and the midterms over a few days, don't try to cram it into one night. Focus in class because he goes over every story and helps a ton if you pay attention.
