Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a required course for transfer to the CSU system, I was prepared to learn and was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this course. Public speaking is a fear-inducing task for many and this class explains how it is only the speakers perception of their own performance that causes this fear as well as how to deal with it so that it does not detract from the effectiveness of a speech. This class was challenging while still providing a fun learning experience.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the teacher and his teaching style. Professor Feere created a supportive environment while maintaining a sense of fun and excitement especially in regards to the impromptu speeches. I learned the key aspects of effective public speaking as well as how to manage speech anxiety.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The key to public speaking is to practice, practice, practice. If you are well-prepared then this course will be a breeze.
