Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a wonderful way to practice the tools you have been learning in all the previous Child Development Classes (This is the Senior Course) However some of the assignments are not proportionate to the grades you're being given.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the interview aspect of it, as this was a way to recieve feedback on something that you generally don't get feedback on. Another aspect that I liked was working at a Childcare center that someone else selected for you as it was unfamiliar but gave you a blank slate to work with.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I included the seven hours of lab work in the hours per week, the hours of homework fluctuated throughout the semester but as we only met once a week, we had plenty of time to accomplish it. There are a few activities in which you prepare an aspect of curriculumn and present it to the class, this is not something to be completely worried about becasue chances are if you have taken all the entry level classes and passed them you know what you're doing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Child development is great for anyone who ever plans to have children. It is a great over view on teaching and mental development of young kids.

    Course highlights:

I loved the projects and practicing with small groups of children. I learned how to break down subject matter to appeal to young children and also how long to expect their attention to last.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to have to work with small children.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was really fun. I learned so much more about children and how to care for them and also learned why they do the things they do. So many things can affect a child behavior and it was really good getting to learn about it.

    Course highlights:

    Learned about children behaviors..

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really pay attention and make sure you do all your work.
