    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In addition to teaching about history, this course teaches reading, writing, and analysis skills that can be useful in many other areas of life.

    Course highlights:

For me, the high points of this course were conquering Blue Book Essays and Document Based Questions. These challenges required a lot of work, but it felt amazing to successfully overcome them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Push yourself to do more than what is required in the class. Even if there is not a reading guide assigned for the chapter, take the time to read the chapter carefully and create your own notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I had a great time in Mr. Werle's class. He is an excellent teacher and when the material could become difficult he would always put in the extra effort to help his students. It was a very useful class as well because of all the knowledge I have on American history. Believe it or not it comes in handy more than you'd think. The best way to foresee the future is by knowing the class.

    Course highlights:

After taking this course I felt I had a better understanding of American history. We learned about war, politics, economics, laws and many other things which a lot of times helps me to understand what's going on in today's society here in America. This course with the help from my teacher has given me many tools I can use to understand why things happened in history and how they affect my life and the lives of others today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice to students interested in taking this class is simple, have the will to learn and work very hard to achieve that goal. In fact for any class that would be my advice. If you're not willing or wanting to learn you'll be wasting your time.
