Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was challenging in a very positive way. She had us create a "Moot Court" document about specific subjects, we worked in teams and it was chunked up throughout the semester. The lectures were amazing and not boring at all. She gave us all of the tools to study for the tests but you must study for them!! She uses a powerpoint in class and we could also use it to study. The powerpoint has all of the answers to the tests and she goes over them in class. She also provides a study guide that you fill out before the test using her powerpoint. Very easy!

    Course highlights:

Before every class Mrs. Gladden would open up the room to discuss current events and our opinions about them. This was neat because everyone could speak their mind about these topics. She would then do the lecture, which sounds boring, but it is not. Mrs. Gladden has a wonderful energy about her, we all fell in love with her class. She taught me the importance of voting. I voted during the election because of her class and how much she inspired me. Oh yeah! She also gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit and her grading system is based on points not grades. The goal is to make 1000 points the whole semester, again the extra credit was helpful. I ended up with 20 extra points that helped a bad test grade I made.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the review! If you do the review for the tests you will be fine! There is team project so be mindful of your partner.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Ramon showed a interest in her subject. She loved learning and knowing about government. Any professor that can show interest in her studies and work would always be a great teacher. Ramon was always available to lend a hand so her students would pass her course with the grade that was desired.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me many things from: the history of our government, how to understand our government, and how to participate in our government. I left the course with a new view about how our country has been running and how it can be better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is not a difficult course. If you properly study and attend all the classes it will be a breeze. It will teach you things that you didn't know were possible to do.
