    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There is no use of PowerPoint. If you are a visual learner, then it will be hard for you to learn anything. His tests are all short answers, there is no multiple choice.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to correctly answer short answer question when I was in another class. Now, I feel like I became a better writer after that class. I also learn a lot of stories of things that happened in history. The professor is a good story teller.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

There are tutorials that the professor offers. I advice you to go to all of them because the student assistant will help you in studying for the test. Also, don't show up late to class because you won't be allowed to enter.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend trying to get another professor but the course isn't too hard so you should be okay.

    Course highlights:

The only reason I passed was from the help of my TA. The lectures would easily get off topic.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask TAs any questions that you have.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Hewitt is funny and often goes off on hysterical tangents! He also had a supplemental instruction (SI) leader who was very helpful. The SI sessions greatly helped my grade.

    Course highlights:

We discussed the in detail the events that led to the founding of the United States and discussed history all the way to the beginnings of the Civil War.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely attend all of the SI sessions. In addition, be sure to rework your notes.
