    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Whether I do or don't recommend this course is conditional to why a student would be taking this course. I do not recommend this course just to fulfill a GE requirement. This professor expects a lot out of his class and does not curve! However, if you are a biology major or love science, go for it! The amount of knowledge you are expected to learn is a little intimidating, but if you put the time into it, you will pass.

    Course highlights:

I got a deep understanding of biology from this course, and the information I learned has helped tremendously moving forward with my biology classes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is extremely difficult. I spent hours and hours reading the book and studying. If you aren't good with science, I recommend finding another professor. Basically the only way to get an A is to do the one extra credit assignment (which I did), and it is very stressful.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Such an easy class if you show up for lecture and just listen. The power points that he uses in class are online to look at and he has Cornell notes for each lecture. Every test is easy to study for and pass as long as you study the quizlet set he sets up. The questions and answers from the quizlet sets are the exact ones on the test!!!

    Course highlights:

It is an intro to biology class, so he just touches on all of the subjects. You will learn about plants, mitosis, meiosis, ecology, evolution, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the quizlet sets!!!! If you do, you will pass the tests.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved her as a teacher, she knows the subject very well, enjoys it and teaching it, and she makes the class simple and fun. I learned a lot from her!

    Course highlights:

The lab was my favorite part, more specifically learning about genetics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study for the tests, I found in groups works best. Also finish the lab and the questions asap so you don't forget about them, she checks them randomly. Lastly, just have fun! She is very nice and helpful so there is no need to be worried about the class.
