    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely informative about the various nations of the world, the history of human civilization from the neolithic period to the early modern, and the nature of different cultures. I learned a great deal about countries all over the world, which has helped inform my understanding of modern day world politics.

    Course highlights:

The best parts of this course in my opinion were the cultural studies portions, which allowed a window of insight into how ancient civilizations lived their lives. An assignment for the course included creating a magazine for Ancient Egypt and understanding how the household might be run through that exercise.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, a student needs to attend classes, pay attention closely to lectures, do the readings and take diligent notes.
