Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I feel that this course has prepared me for college while deeply interesting me on the subject of psychology.

    Course highlights:

One of the most important skills you acquire for this course is time management. The tests all need to be completed within an allotted amount of time, the need to complete these tasks simultaneously teaching students about organization and focus.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read and reread the material, whether you think you know enough or not. The review work book is a very handy tool for this, allowing students to underline or highlight important facts. On top of reading the material, take advantage of all of the review sessions and note taking sessions during class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Be fascinated with the subject and who the teacher is will not impact your success in the slightest. However, Professor M was by far a fantastic person that inspired me to learn new things and take a new found interest in abnormal psychology.

    Course highlights:

I learned the most about schizophrenia.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, like actually read it....all of it, I mean it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is fantastic. You learn an abundance of information about different disorders. The course allows you to look at disorders from several standpoints. My personal favorite thing about this course is that it equips you with the ability to read a case study and provide a diagnosis for the patient on your own. 10/10 recommend.

    Course highlights:

We watched movies and documentaries and heard from people suffering from the disorders themselves. I learned about the wide range of disorders and the many ways one disorder can appear.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The book is not required for the course, but if you are really interested in abnormal psychology then I recommend getting it anyway. Although you learn a lot from the class, the book provides you with even more information.
