Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because it helped me understand the cause of certain personalities among people. This knowledge was very useful to me because I used it to determine the way I approach others. What I learned in this class has made me exercise different ways of saying the same thing, according to who I am talking to.

    Course highlights:

I learned that our minds can change our perception to help alleviate stress that we are experiencing as a form of survival. These are contradicting ideas or beliefs called Cognitive Dissonance.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask your professor to recommend books to you that have to do with his/her class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course purely because of how interesting it is to learn about our brains and the functions that it controls. Reading studies about Generalization and positives negative reinforcement were really worth all the hard work and time consumption that comes with the course.

    Course highlights:

I gained a ton of knowledge from this course just by listening to the lectures! Without this class, I wouldn't have such a study knowledge of these things. I find myself using the terms I learned in class and connecting it to real life studies. It's truely amazing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to you would be to be thorough in your note taking and don't just write down the definitions because they wotlnt get you very far. You actually have to put the time and energy into this class to pass and feel like you really learned a thing or two about the human mind and the way it thinks.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Really good information and I liked how the course was set up. Everything was accessible online so I would always just write out my notes beforehand then add anything additional during the lecture.

    Course highlights:

My favorite unit was probably the memory and learning unit. It's really interesting to me how the brain works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read at least the bold stuff in the textbook and look at the powerpoints ahead of time so you know what to expect when you go into a lecture!
