    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Shes a great teacher and works with everyone in the class to make sure we all understand. She thoroughly explains everything and goes over HW in the beginning of class. However her HW is not graded or required.

    Course highlights:

How understanding and Warr is makes asking questions much less embarrassing and I really loved not having to worry about doing the HW. Her tests were fairly easy as well since they're closed notes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the HW. Even though its not graded it makes the tests and graded problems much easier later on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would high recommend Professor Favreault. He is incredibly down to Earth and always does his best to understand his students. He's not one to sugar coat things, but he truly believes every student can be good at math. His teaching methods were unique and fresh in a subject that I found tired and boring. I gained a new respect for mathematics.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were always his ability to explain what sounded like a complex process simply. I learned that often times, algebra is a lot easier when you take the time to write out the processes in your own words and then apply it immediately to multiple problems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to the professor! Attend class! Math is so much easier to learn in a group setting and it is absolutely necessary to be able to ask questions as you go. Also, do your homework. It helps immensely. And don't be afraid to get an answer wrong-- it's just another opportunity to learn.
