Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is absolutely incredible and extremely knowledgable! I visited him during his office hours and he made sure I knew all the materials well. The environment in the classroom as a whole is extremely comfortable and excellent for learning.

    Course highlights:

I learned things I never thought I would and taking this class gave me a genuine interest in psychology and made me simply want to know everything about it! The class was extremely fair and if you do the reading and studying you are guaranteed an A

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip class! It is an interesting class so I don't see why you would want to skip it but perfect attendance gets you some extra credit at the end of the semester. Do all of the reading as well! Don't let yourself fall behind on that. Take comprehensive notes as he doesn't upload them online after class so what you get in class is all you get in addition to the book.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Pham taught one of the first classes that I ever took at OCC. She really helped develop my interest for Behavioral Psychology and kept things detailed and informative without being stuffy or boring about it. She was always very helpful and communicative whenever I spoke to her and took time to answer questions, no matter how silly they seemed. I highly recommend this class for anyone that has a passion for psychology or anyone that would like to take a relatively easy class with a lot of interesting information.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course included: great videos on landmark psychological experiments, personality quizzes, surveys, extra time for group collaboration and brainstorming, fun extra credit assignments, detailed yet fair tests, and an effectively communicative teacher. We covered nearly every basic aspect of psychology in a relatively short amount of time and gained a greater understanding of how much psychology effects everything in our lives (biologically, socially, etc.)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attentions to the lectures and videos she shows. You don't really need to buy the book since she covers nearly everything on her Power Points. Just make sure to write detailed notes on her slides, and the tests will be a breeze.
