Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking Mr. Otwell's Introduction to Philosophy course was as entertaining as it was enthralling! His delivery of course material was seamless with his jokes. This helped to keep everyone involved and eventually helped connect the class! At times, debates pitted people arguing against their own beliefs. This was helpful because it helped us look for flaws in our logic.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me realize how delicate and unique everyone's perspective is. All of these philosophers that we were studying were extremely diverse, even when arguing similar topics. This showed that though we may have different justifications for like things, and our justification is our truth. The uniqueness of people comes with their view of their world as well as their motives for thought and action. Otwell's class helped immensely in this realization!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come in with an open mind and willingness to be silly! Study with friends from class or take the class with friends! It's fun and interesting talking about class and assignments because a lot of them are open for thought!
