Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class to other students because it is challenging and rewarding. Candy gives real examples about how the information applies to real life. She also tells personal stories that relate to the lecture. She is really engaging which makes the class so much easier to follow along with. She is also very helpful. She assigns one paper where you have to write about a social issue. She encourages students to go to her office hours so she can help with your paper or verify your sources. I learned a lot of vaulable information in this course and I think it is a really great introductory course to take. It even sparked an interest in majoring in sociology for me.

    Course highlights:

It was really interesting to learn more about society in general. Candy is really knowledgable and she would even spout out a source in class every now and then if a student did not believe in the information she was giving us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. Take good notes. Do the homework.

    Course Overview:

I learned that everyone in society has a part whether it be negative or positive, one's gender or ethnicity plays a big role one the person's pov when physically looking at others or analyzing the cultural differences, and the big debate on gender and sex.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate on the blog posting and simply read the articles that are given for homework. Very easy
