Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Although I took it while in high school there was so much help to pass the class.

I didn't just learn about english but about how college isn't so bad after all.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a tutor to check your papers it'll help a lot.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helps get a deeper understanding of English. It clarified rules that I learned growing up, but didn't completely understand helping me be able to explain it to another person.

    Course highlights:

The biggest lesson I learned was how to structure an essay. I had difficulty staying on subject and I didn't realize it until me and my teacher sat down and she explained my mistake. This helped me in my next English class but also in writing scholarship papers, job applications, and clarify my points when talking to other people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Since this was my friend's first English college course, I would say don't feel incompetent you have the ability to express yourself in a clear, fluid manner. Reading is a pretty big part, so practice reading faster and learning the material the first time you read it so reexamining the text won't be required.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not an easy class by any means, Dr, King is not an easy grader, he expects you to learn and pay attention but he gives you all the tools and opportunities to do so. this class taught me how to be a much better writer and it helped me so much in all the rest of my classes! highly reccomend

    Course highlights:

highlights were the online discussions, he engaged a lot and gave insight to help you relate to the terms we learned.making it so much easier to understand the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

do ALL the reading, even if no assignment is scheduled for a reading, it WILL appear in the exams even as only one question.
