Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend professor Nelms because in my opinion she was a very good professor. Math hasn’t always been my best subject but with her I finally understood it. I never struggled in her class and could always go to her after class with any questions I had. She was always willing to help each student in class, you could tell that she was passionate about her job. I would definitely take her again.

    Course highlights:

I took this course in the Fall of 2015 so I don’t remember exactly what I learned but I know that I never struggled. Whenever I went into math 1414 I wasn’t nearly as lost as I thought I would be because math 1314 with Nelms taught me a lot and I retained the information for the next class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to pass her class you have to take notes, show up, and pay attention. It is an easy class even if you don’t understand math going into it because she is a big help and goes into detail or repeats whatever a student asks of her to do. She is always willing to stop and help a student who didn’t understand it.
