Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved taking this class! My professor has a true passion for government and history which she meshed together perfectly. I learned so much in the 8 weeks I took this class. She really gets in the details of how state, local, and federal government work, and makes you critically think about current policies and laws.

    Course highlights:

Every morning she would go over the daily news with the government at state and federal level. She kept it lively which is hard for a subject like this. She also had many class dicussions so people would participate and held anonymous online surveys for the class to get true opinions about controversial topics. I learned a lot more about state government and local government than I ever had before. She also required us to attend one event that was some form of government participation. When I attended a city council meeting I was shocked and saddened by the lack of attendance from other citizens.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up to date on homework and essays. Also, just have fun with it and pay attention in class. There is a lot of information and a lot of people to remember.
