    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class isn't too hard on coursework, but most of it is just listening to the teacher's lectures, which I would be alright with if she didn't get so personal sometimes. I want to learn about public speaking, not your cats.

    Course highlights:

How to properly speak with good body language.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Practice fake laughing. It helps

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course as long is it is being instructed by Professor Rihan. The professor is very passionate about communication and making sure her students understand the material. I also recommend this class because it evaluates your current personality traits, work ethic, skills, and relationships. The class lays a foundation for realization of your self standing in order to learn techniques for improving yourself. The material learned from this course can be use to better your home, work and school life.

    Course highlights:

The first highlight of the course is evaluating your own personality and traits. I was engaged by learning my traits and how it affects my work, school and home life. Being aware of these traits helped me see what I needed to work on to have better relationships in all of these sectors of life. Also, you will learn how to effectively communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds which is highly useful in the business sector. Interacting with people from other cultures can be difficult because a gesture from America that is considered respectful is often considered rude in another country. This class focuses on common communication mistakes with other cultures. Further, the class addresses common communication mistakes in a relationship and how to make small changes to correct them. For example, instead of saying "you" substitute it for "I". These three objectives were the highlights of the course for me because I was able to use what I had learned to better my own communication and even now, two years later I reflect back on what I have learned.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to be honest with yourself. The course can have a positive impact on your communication style, work ethic and confidence. However, if you are not honest with yourself on how you communicate and what your strengths and weaknesses are then you won't be able improve.
