Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Keys is a very excited teacher that touches on subjects that other teachers may have overlooked. Feels like you're actually learning, not just reviewing what you were taught in High School.

    Course highlights:

This course really emphasizes on the experiences of the minorities and immigrants in the US through history, a subject that is usually overlooked but very vital to understand our past thoroughly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definetly make sure to check the syllabus regularly, as the Professor does not remind you of the reading schedule, it is expected that you already know what you are supposed to read.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course covered the major occurrences throughout history. It delved into issues that occurred from the mid 1800's till present. Typically history comes off as a bland subject, but Professor Standley made it interesting. The lectures are always interesting and they pertain to what is going to be on the midterm and final. If you are looking for a history course that will not put you to sleep or overwhelm you, this is definitely what you need. The course relies on three major assignments, but with active listening and notes, it will be a piece of cake.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of insight on the various historical occurrences throughout the decades. I learned about current issues alongside issues that Americans faced throughout numerous decades.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not put off the research paper due to the fact that it takes time to gain all the information needed. The midterm and final is relatively easy if you go to class and take proper notes. The notes serve an important purpose, so make sure to pay attention.
