    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Coleman may expect a lot of time and effort from students but the discussions held in the class were worth every reading and writing assignment. She gave back great advice for writing essays and she was always well-prepared at every class meeting.

    Course highlights:

We analyzed the works of Plato and Aristotle which actually line up with other philosophers such as John Locke and Rene Descartes. We also studied fallacies made by characters in the novels we read and how these common mistakes are actually relevant in today's society.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to walk out of the class with a high grade, be prepared to devote a lot of time and attention to this course. Always make sure to read because she does like to give pop quizzes, and make your voice heard in the discussion because it makes class much more interesting.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Michelle Stewart is an absolutely EXCELLENT professor. I have taken over 5 English courses with her and each class is amazing. If you are looking for an easy, squeeze your way by type of English class then Michelle is not for you. However, if you are looking for an English class that will challenge you and make you grow into an excellent writer, then by all means go for it! She has always made me work for my grades and now I get A's on all of my papers and in all of my English classes.

    Course highlights:

The biggest part for me was learning how to develop a deeper thesis and write a strong paper.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Work your hardest and work closely with the teacher.
