Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought that the class had moderate difficulty, but the professor did not know which areas to emphasize. She would spend more time on the easy things, and that would leave no time for her to go over the harder subjects. For example, she would explain why a negative times a negative equaled a positive, but didn't take the time to explain to us the quadratic formula and how to apply it.

    Course highlights:

I think that this course is definitely needed if you want to take higher math classes. It really made me understand factoring, and how to graph different equations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important advice that I could give is to not procrastinate on homework. There is a lot of things to do in My Math Lab, and if you procrastinate, it will build up. Do the homework right after the class because it is still fresh in your mind, and then you also don't fall behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Teacher was horrible. She wouldn't be to class on time and didn't care about grades.

    Course highlights:

Nothing. Everyday i sat there and couldnt grasp what she was teaching at all.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do extra work on your own and do not rely on just the teacher.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely helpful. It allowed me to review what I had learned in prior courses such as Pre-calculus and Algebra.

    Course highlights:

The course was taught in a way that promoted a good learning environment where question were encouraged. It was not difficult at all to follow along with the material.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking notes and reviewing the material before tests is essential. Also, finishing the online practice quizzes and homework provide a good, comprehensive review before the tests.
