    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a pretty difficult course. She has us teach ourselves outside of the classroom and we work with the material in class.

    Course highlights:

Cells, meiosis, mitosis, cellular respiration and photosynthesis (these kind of things)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    STUUUUDYYYYYYY HARRRRRRRDDDDDD

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

At least with this professor, the class was so much fun and informative. Our professor made things that I would normally be not super interested in, very exciting. I liked the teacher so much that I made sure to take her again for Bio 2.

    Course highlights:

Bio 1 is your basis into biology, not count intro to biology. In it, you cover major biological fields like genetics, photosynthesis, cellular respiration and others. everything intertwines which is really cool to see pan out. Personally, my favorite subject from the class is the genetics chapter(s) because its crazy to me how one little change makes a huge impact on a person.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

PAY ATTENTION. You will fail if you don't. The class goes by pretty fast and there's a lot of material. Also, study at least a little bit, The tests can be pretty hard and even just a little bit of study goes a long way. I like figuring out how I'm going to do my notes in the beginning and sticking to that plan throughout the semester to keep some sort of structure. Flash cards and structure help and tremendous amount for studying.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. It was challenging and I am always up for a challenge. It was not easy but I loved it because I love science!!

    Course highlights:

Mitosis, meiosis, photosynthesis and respiration, and the cell cycle and all things cells. (In-depth)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study like crazy. Make sure you know all the terms she talks about (not just the bolded-everything that has to do with the bolded too!!) make sure you know definition->word, word->definition!!!!
