    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking this course it gives you the skills to assess your patients before they tell you anything about there primary reason for coming in the office to be seen. As a nurse you are the go between in the doctor and patient relationship, anything you pick up about the patient is made part of the plan of care for the patient so being precise and aware of what is normal and what is abnormal is crucial in the care of the patient.

    Course highlights:

I just love being able to assess the patient over health status beginning from the head and ending with the toes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be fully committed to your field of study in order to pass this course. There is a lot of reading as well as lab work that goes along with this course.
