    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course outlines the most basic to the most sophisticated functions of the human body. Taking this course helps you realize that breathing air or using your hands to type on a keyboard aren't really as simple as they seem. There are marvelous and incredibly sophisticated measures occuring in order to allow the body to smoothly function. Highly interesting material combined with the excellent teaching skills of the professor resulted in pure inspiration and enlightenment.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course in my opinion are the nervous system, the muscular system, and the endocrine system. I learned that chemicals such as calcium, potassium, chloride, and many more play a vital role in our survival. Without any one of these elements, life would cease to exist.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Immediately create study groups amongst your peers. Develop extremely effective study habits and stick to them. You will need to completely understand every single topic that is taught in the class. Plain memorization will not assist you in understanding the material which will result in low test scores. You really need to dedicate a generous amount of time to the course in order to study efficiently. Writing out the notes two or three times over again will incredibly aid you in further understanding the material. Dedicate plenty of time to reading the textbook. Expect to be absolutely amazed by the enlightening discussions in class. This course will allow you to view the human body and the world in an entirely positive and new way.
