    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Berisso was an excellent instructor. She taught at a pace where all members of the class could easily comprehend. The material was interesting and engaging.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to utilize a graphing calculator. We learned a lot of short-cuts to solving equations which made the course easier for me.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Attend all class meeting and fully engage in the class, ask questions! Mrs. Berisso is very compassionate and pays attention to those who are attentive and present in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are ready for this kind of math, I would definitely take it from Maxwell! She is very understanding, but firm when it comes to the rules and the assignments. You can tell she really wants you to understand the material, and she is willing to make a fool out of herself to help you remember the concepts. It is when you have a teacher that cares about your education that makes you care about the assignments.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course gave be a great grasp of math and the applications it has in everyday life. My teacher, Maxwell, would not only give us the formula, but she would also tell us what this formula could create in the real world and how. That kind of understanding can be powerful.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Simply put, do the homework until you understand how to solve the equation, and then do three more of the same type to solidify your understanding. Sometimes this requires you to do extra, but sometimes this means you can do less.

Every teacher has a different way of teaching and every student has a unique way of learning, but Professor Spotts can meet you half way with a touch of humor.

    Hours per week:
