Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Definitely, would recommend this class, it is a requirement for some. Taking it in the summer may help speed up this class since it does feel slow paced.

    Course highlights:

Great foundation for economics! This class has taught me a lot about the basics of economics and also well prepared me for microeconomics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember to study for each exam since the entirety of the course is made up of the scores you get on each exam; there is no hw.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Nelson is a really great Professor!! His class takes place in the evening. Although his class is supposed to be 3 hours, he mostly finishes earlier. But My point is that although his class is soo long, how he teaches the class is really great! He makes econ very interesting!! He gives examples and discusses them. Moreover, there are 3 exams a multiple choice part and a writing part. Professor Nelson wants everybody to pass and during the exam he doesn't even care if people use their phone. So Multiple choice can be tough but some students just looked up the answers, and the writing part is very similar to the Practice Set Professor Nelson provides. For each Chapter there will be a Quiz, but they aren't too hard and you have three tries.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about Microeconomics, how the whole system works. How inflation happens, how supply and demand work and how much intake the Government has in the whole process.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to read the Chapter before class, take good notes. In addition, Nelson provides really great videos online, which I always watched before the exam. In addition, Professor Nelson allows a cheat sheet, so make sure you make a great one with all important information and I guarantee you, you will pass this class!!
