    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is not only easy but the professor provides a lot of life-changing advice and inspirational stories to motivate you to reach your goals not only in college, but in your own life in general. I learned so much about myself in this class and what I can do to raise my own self-esteem. I found that if I were to create my very best self, I would want to focus on improvement rather than let others define my future. And when I accomplish something, I will acknowledge it and not compare them to other people who might be more successful than me. Recently, I found myself to be more of a creator more than a victim. I figured that finding solutions well benefit me after college, so I focused on creating these solutions. For example, I'm not very good at Philosophy and I didn't do as well as I wanted to during the first exam. Instead of blaming the professor for making the exam too difficult to understand, I recognized that I would have to turn to a different study strategy rather than solely reading the textbook and not grasping the concepts. I asked for help and looked towards online study guides/videos to help me understand the material better. With the "creator" mindset in my head, I was able to progressively do even better on future exams and pass the class with a higher grade than I expected in the beginning of the semester. My goal language will be to reflect on my responsibilities and come up with an action plan/alternative solutions to reach my goals. This mindset will ensure that I experience success in what I'm doing and help me grow as a person. I will know what I did wrong, learn from my mistakes, and do things differently.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite assignments in class was when we were asked to list ten of our strengths and ten of our weaknesses. I learned that examining our strengths helps us build self-esteem. At the same time, listing our weaknesses is not a sign of vulnerability, discouragement, powerlessness, and even low self-esteem, but rather qualities that make us unique and even helps us to connect with other people and to build deep, meaningful relationships. All of us are imperfect and we relate well to other people's flaws and we can help each other improve on our flaws. It shows a sign of self-awareness.

    Advice for students:

My advice to other students taking the course in the future is to persevere and not drop out of this class. You come into this class expecting an easy A but you also learn about dealing with stress in college, dealing with life itself, and finding value in what you do in your daily life. You learn about how to reach your goals and what kind of attitude is needed in order to accomplish those tasks needed to become closer to your goals. This class is about self-discovery, finding passion, and stress/time management
