Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because the professor is very easy to understand and when questions need to be answered,he is there to offer his assistance.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to critically analyze whatever material that I'm reading and break it down to terms that I understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you have time to work on the journals as well as the essays. if you have additional time, also make sure you take advantage of the office hours to proofread your essays to better it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr Cross is an amazing teacher. His course is not easy, but worth taking if you care about your writing skills. The course theme might seem odd initially, but as you go you will develop a better understanding of what this course really is about. Reading is required, but I would not say that is was on the heavy side. Dr Cross will push you to work hard, but in the end you will feel satisfied and endowed with "nuts" and "bolts" of writing. Dr Cross also provides a grammar overview, which I found really helpful since English is my second language.

    Course highlights:

I really liked the grammar overview, and also how Dr Cross unpacked our tasks to make them easier for us. The textbooks were not too thick, which should tell you that it is all about interpretation instead of absorbing large volumes of text.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't get discouraged after the first class. There are 4 essays and one group presentation. Dr Crosswas always available during office hours, and he was always in time with grading and returning work back to students.
