Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the way the instructor teaches the class. This class will make you think out of the box using interesting History to teach you English and how to be a college level writer.

    Course highlights:

My Highlight of this course was reading the short stories that were assigned and then being taught the meaning behind the book through class discussion.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Please be on time and come to class as much as you can. Janice is a very easy going teacher. She really wants you to learn so when you miss a lot of class without a valid excuse she won't be pleased. Also read read read, most of her lesson plans will be about the book that was assigned so just come to class ready to discuss the reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. It gave freedom of expression. The free writes let you write freely on topics for ten minutes. I found it super relaxing. Also the reading material was always actually interesting to read. I actually enjoyed reading the stories and was able to get more indepth with my writing.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the discussions. It was an online course so it was nice to read everybody's opinions. Also it was nice to get mine out there and get feedback. The discussions always brought new ideas out every week. It kept it interesting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to manage your time wisely. Read the material and carefully analyze it so you can get the most out of it. That way you can easily apply the material to your writing. Time is of the essence.
