Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class online through a program called Canvas, and I enjoyed every moment of it. The coursework is easy if you are a self-motivated student. There is not a lot of teacher-student interaction due to this being an online course. There were two essays required for the semester, and discussion posts every week which involve the students posting an original post and three separate responses to their peers on three different days of the week. So you need to be diligent! There are weekly quizzes, 10 questions each, timed at 10 minutes, and no re-takes. Final exam was online, but very easy if you read the book throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

Highlights consisted of great feedback on your essays and the professor's upfront grading rubric. I enjoyed the book she had used-- "The Developing Person: Through Childhood and Adolescence"-- and learned a lot from it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are a student trying to skate by, do not take this class. This teacher is very strict on her grading rubric for discussion posts and will not give you a grade above a C if you do not follow the requirements. If you are a student who has a busy schedule and needs to take these classes online, then I recommend this class as long as you are willing to put in the work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was wonderful. She knew what she was talking about, and she loved teaching it. I really enjoy people who love to teach and love being there. We also had different studies we did thought the class, and I really enjoyed that. For example, we had to watch a child between 2-6 years and record it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were learning that everyone goes through the same developmental stages as you. So if you feel like something is weird, you are not alone.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you don't wait until the last minute to do the studies. They take along time to do and she is looking for details on your essays
