Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

highly recommend this teacher, very clear with predictable quizzes and test formats, great teaching method.

    Course highlights:

this class is like a broad highlighter to the things you'll have to go into depth later, great preparation class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

pay attention to the practice questions he send you, chances are they will be on the tests almost verbatim.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was my second time taking this because I got a "D" the first time. This class is very challenging, but I give it an excellent rating because the teacher cares about you. The class was one of those life changing classes like from the movies. Over half the class dropped it and took 0 credit in the last two weeks. This class was like Harvard at Solano and I learned so much. I had a 60% the last week, and the teacher invited me to office hours. He inspired me to work ( I needed 100% to pass with a C). I did it and am a better person for taking the class.

    Course highlights:

The teacher is genuine and cares, something you don't appreciate if you've never had a bad teacher. I can draw a heart, diagram the blood flow through it, tell you about T cells and B antibodies, from a science class that was 2 years ago. Take this class and work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you wanted to go to Stanford or Yale but couldn't, this class is what you're looking for. You'll grow a lot, and this because of the struggle of this class and the type of people who take it, you'll form a bond with your classmates. Be helpful, playfully competitive and work hard.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for those looking for a caring teacher, who will absolutely challenge you. He's one of the better educated teacher's at Solano. The class was tough for me, I took it twice. I learned a lot about proteins, nucleic acids, cells, T cells and B antibodies. Take this class if you want to learn and meet a nice, though sarcastic, teacher.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to draw and label a heart from memory. Not only that, but I learned to diagram the flow of blood through the heart. I learned a lot about the kidney, antibodies, the sympathetic system. And the part about fight or flight was interesting. Brain cells (neurons) was probably the hardest part for me.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study, and take the in class version, not online. Also, buy your book and resell. Adults buy houses instead of rent so they have assets. Apply that philosophy to your books. Resell value.
