    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course to those who are willing to put in the work for a good grade and for knowledge that will last a lifetime. Dr. Word is definitely a hard professor, but he is fair and teaches you well. He doesn't just give you an A unless he is sure that you know the material.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are the notes he gives in class. He is very detailed and goes really fast, but that is how physiology works. It is a very difficult subject and is never easy. If you don't understand it, Dr. Word will help you, as long as you ask him. UTILIZE his office hours and his study questions. Fill them out and if you can't answer one, ask him the question. He will give you the knowledge you need for your future endeavors and won't ever make you feel inferior. Just take notes and don't be absent. If you want an A, you better work hard for it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, go to office hours, and don't miss class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are studying to get your pre-requirement for the Nursing Program and have a job or busy life this is the class for you. It has a lot of information to know but Mr. Word explains it in such a manner that you can relate and understand.

    Course highlights:

I am just starting in the class but so far I have learned how to take my BP and the effects of negative feedback.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to try to get at least 2 hours a day and look over the class everyday. Don't wait until the weekend to cram every thing in one night.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Long listens to input well such as whether of not course material makes sense, whether or not class is going by too slow or too fast, etc. Course material is hard but Professor Long tries his best to make material understandable and easy to learn.

    Course highlights:

I loved the labs, very interactive and educational.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip studying. Write all the notes down and study them. Pictures help a lot too.
