    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course served as an excellent way to reflect on my own educational journey, whether it's from three years ago or my current semester. With the care and consistency provided by the instructor, I earned an A at the end of the course and left with a new sense of confidence in my college career.

    Course highlights:

I learned some essential tools on how to manage my time correctly while also reiterating the importance of self-motivation and self-esteem in myself. The weekly journal exercises encouraged me to dive deep and prepared me to balance my future college courses with everything else in life. For me it was my church life, close relationships, and my family.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course will always ask you to "dive deep" for the assignments you have. You mustn't be afraid to be open and honest with yourself and then with your instructor. It focuses on several tools to improve your study habits, so utilize what you're learning in the course as your do your work for COUN 007 and other classes you may have. You'll be highly encouraged as you see yourself gradually get better at managing your schoolwork and time.
