Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend any student interested in Computer Programming to take any COSC courses instructed by this professor. I have taken three courses and have learned so much in each course. The instructor takes the time to show you each program and will explain why you are writing the program the way you are. He will also quickly respond to an email if you find you are having a difficult time getting your program to run correctly, and will explain to you the error that is causing the program to default.

    Course highlights:

I have never used Eclipse or Code Blocks before and thought when you write a program, there was only one way to write it. This courses I have taken with this professor show you the different applications you can use to write your programs and allows you to chose which program best fits you and your style.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, you have to be able to devote a little time to understand what you are doing for each program. You also have to have a little bit of computer knowledge and know how a computer works in order to be able to follow along with the instructors directions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think it is important to have basic computer skills for the things you will need if you are trying to start a business. You will need to know functions in Word and Excel.

    Course highlights:

The highlights in the course to me was learning in Excel. It was not easy but once i figured out equations and how to work the program I was happy.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are prepared with a book because if you do not have one available, it can cause you to get behind in class.
