    Course Overview:

    She made learning interesting and my writing skills did improve immensely.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course were the essays that she took the time to talk us through. We spent hours upon hours working on the structure and grammar. She fairly revised and graded them in a timely manner.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do your vocabulary and do not procrastinate on your essays.

    Course Overview:

    The professor is very kind, she listens and really helps you when your struggling with a certain area, and works with students specific needs.

    Course highlights:

    sentence structure, proper punctuation and grammar techniques, how to properly outline your thoughts for an essay, and teaches skills on how to research and construct a multitude of different genres of essays.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Take the course! It has helped me to be more aware of my grammar and punctuation. The techniques that the professor uses helps train your brain to even sub-consciously catch errors that may not have been seen or caught previously.

    Mrs. Owney encourages you to use your own brain and let's you have your own viewpoints and will challenge you on how your opinion.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to properly write an outline and research paper which has helped in all of my other courses.

    Make sure you read your course material and don't be afraid to ask questions.
