Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it allows students to learn about and practice writing for the professional workplace. Students will learn how to write reports, proposals, memos, and more.

    Course highlights:

The major highlight of this course was the final business prospectus. Students were asked to create a company, and then write a business prospectus to potential investors. I learned how important it is to write professionally and persuasively when writing to investors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important piece of advice I can offer is to put as much effort as you can into each project. Allow yourself to dive into each scenario as you begin writing, that way each assignment will serve as a practice run for whatever type of business communication you create in the future.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this because finishing this course in High School is much easier than having to finish in college, you get a longer period of time to do the work and the teacher is much more lenient.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of this course is hearing student's ideas on subjects that are much different than mine. I learned many vocabulary words as well as as how to write papers much better than I did before.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to make sure to not procrastinate on the work that's due because it will catch up to you and you will have work just piling up making you more stressful making the class much harder than it actually is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this as a college in the class room course. It was a wonderful opportunity for me. I was able to take more advanced classes in high school, while getting the college credit. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to work hard and potentially save money in their educational career.

    Course highlights:

I learned so about defining and determining rhetoric throughout different times/stages of writing and the authors purpose of that rhetoric. I also learned about structure in poetry and in writing. I learned about the triangle of pathos, egos, and logos and have a better understanding of how literature and language work in depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's worth the work if you're willing to put it in.
