Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although the class can be quite sometimes, Professor Lyman is great at delivering content and providing visual aids. If you take his class, you'll definitely feel prepared for the major.

    Course highlights:

We covered the basics of AC/DC circuits. For DC (the first 5 weeks), we covered Wheatstone bridges, resistor color codes, Ohm's law, Thevinum/Norton Equivalents, Resistive series/parallel/series-parallel circuits and electron behavior. For AC (the last 5 weeks), we covered inductors in series/parallel/series-parallel, capacitors in series/parallel/series-parallel, the characteristics of inductors and capacitors, how transformers work, and that's from the top of my head.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of your work ahead of time, and go to the lab often.
