Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Herman loves to be involved with his students, he cracks jokes in class and tries to meet every students need for success.

    Course highlights:

We learned about US history, obviously but the two topics I remember most about this course was women's and slaves rights and postal delivery on Sunday.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the books he assigns, take detailed notes in this class usually he has a PowerPoint presentation but you really need to pay attention to what he says. Use the study guides that he gives they make studying so much easier

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course included two large papers, and two exams. I enjoyed learning about US History before the Civil War, however I would have done less class discussions regarding documents, and would have done more research projects and more assignments. Overall, the class was interesting, but difficult if bad scores were received on the exams or papers.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the United States before the Civil war, such as how America was founded and by who, how America was formed into what it is today, and how foreign influences affect the lives of Americans on a daily basis.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice would be to read all of the books and documents, and focus on the papers and exams! If the scores earned on these are high, the class will be easy. Also, get involved in the class discussions.
