    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although the content of the course was interesting, I would not recommend taking Dr. Fasset. His heart was in the right place, and I think he does care about his student's, but I just couldn't understand at least 75% of what he told us. His teaching style didn't work for me and I don't think anyone taking the class with me left with a clear understanding of the course. We started with 30 students and ended with 7.

    Course highlights:

Taking this class really challenged me and I think it really tests student's on their ability to take advantage of outside resources. I should also note that although Fasset wasn't the best professor I had, he is really easy to talk to and had a lot of help to give outside of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on understanding the structure of the course and lectures. Practice problems are a must, and if you can, start a study group.
