Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a great course! I would definitely recommend it. I learned a lot that I am able to use every day in my own life. It was a course that everyone can learn from to help them with their health in general, based off of what they eat.

    Course highlights:

The course teaches students about what nutrients are in the foods that we eat, and what foods are good and bad for you. The lab assignments were relevant to the lecture and helped everyone learn the content even more in depth. I thought that it was a good introduction to nutrition that gave me a basic understanding of the subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to take good notes in class and do the lab assignments each week to get a good grade. To study, it helped me to make flashcards for the key topics and definitions. I would advise anyone taking this course to start the lab assignments way ahead of their due date because they can be time consuming.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was fun and interesting to take. The professor was great, she would tell jokes and take the time to make sure we as a class understood the material. She had all the lectures online so if you missed a day or needed more time to look at the slides you could still look at them, she was open to questions and very considerate.

    Course highlights:

This course was very educational, there were times where the information provided was surprising, but overall I think it is information that is good to know. In my case the course is beneficial because I am going into medicine, I would highly recommend this course to anyone going into medicine, and for those who aren't it is still a good class to take because you could learn something about yourself you did not know before. You learn about your body and how it works, and what it breaks down and how your body breaks it down. It is a very educational course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in the class I would study throughout the week to make sure the information is in your head well, I found flash cards to be useful in some cases, but I know others where just reading the material helped a lot. The tests are hard because it is easy to mix up the numbers so the more you study the better off you are. The tests are multiple choice which makes it better, but also harder because the numbers can be really close and you second guess yourself a lot.
