    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The information in the class is really interesting. We go over a lot of plays, so really it is like being told stories instead of normal lessons each day. The class is not hard at all all you have to do is show up and listen, and it is an easy A. You even get participation grades for just showing up, and he is nice enough to not count three of those days. Overall, Professor Penn is a really great teacher, and I would totally take him again.

    Course highlights:

Overall, the class is a basic introduction to theater, and you will learn the different positions in theatre and how they all relate together such as the direct, actors, sound people, designers, etc. Also we go overall a lot of plays such as Joe Turner's Come and Gone," "Angels of America," "Eurydice," etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Penn is a really great teacher, and really takes the time to go over the material, so that everyone understands it. His tests are kind of specific though, so definitely make sure that you read the textbook, not that that is a burden because the information is really interesting.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are looking into becoming a cultured individual and ant to learn all aspects of how the theatre works, then take this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to effectively set up light boards, sound systems, and video projections as well create my own concert style show.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

ALWAYS be prepared to move heavy things around. Pay attention. You aren't sitting in the traditional classroom setting, but rather moving about and touching really fragile components.
