    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Math is a very important part of science so I would strongly recommend taking these challenging math courses to be familiar.

    Course highlights:

Calculus focused a lot of derivatives, rates of change applications and many more topics that scientists would need.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study as much as possible, go to study sessions, office hours and tutoring. These things are not a waste of time, they are very helpful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because this professor has a strong goal of everyone succeeding and is often focused on helping you in the specific areas where you get lost.

    Course highlights:

Calc one focuses on Limits, and derivatives, barely touching on integrals. If you've taken any calculus before the begining of the course will serve as a great review before it challenges you to learn more.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO OFFICE HOURS! study groups help too, feel free to make your own.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Ho was a very good teacher and we did a lot of class work, she made sure we knew what we were doing. She also had a lot of office hours.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in this class such as a quicker way to find an antiderivative, we did a lot of group work which really helped me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course can be challenging at times but if you study and look over notes it will help a lot. Also, study groups are very beneficial too.
