    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend it for those needing a GE science/lab course. Jason is very passionate about biology and it shows in his lectures. He goes over directions thoroughly and makes sure that you receive help when you need it. He is always willing to use his own personal time to help out a student. His lectures are NEVER boring because his enthusiasm just shines. I enjoyed his class very much!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were that you would get a lot of opportunities for extra credit. Just showing up every day would get you 20 extra credit points! There's a field trip for extra credit points also. The labs were very easy to follow and I didn't dread having a 3 hour lab. The projects were to the point and he was very clear on what he wanted. I didn't learn too many new things ( as I've already taken biology classes before), but I did get refreshed on many topics that I've forgotten. I can now distinguish different leaves and flowers based on small little attributes. It can certainly come in handy when you're spitting random fun facts out at parties!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just show up to class! His lectures are very thorough and his tests don't have too many surprises! He gives you study tips and is always willing to help you out. He gives online homework and if you do these, you will be in very good shape for the tests. The advice for the labs would be to also show up and just participate! Things went wrong (more than they went right) but Jason will still go over what was supposed to happen. He isn't picky on lab results!
