Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I'd highly recommend this course because this instructor allows one page of notes, front and back, for quizzes and midterm exams. She shows kindness, some humor (lol), and she also has let me add her class the second day of the first week of the spring quarter. I emailed her hours before her class began, and she was kind enough to let me add. She does give a lot of homework on WebAssign, and sometimes it can be way too challenging than the quizzes/midterms, and she also will give some class worksheets based on certain chapters; and will give one group project, but you don't have to present, just only turn in. She also cares for her students to succeed by giving feedback, if you are kind enough to ask her. She will respond to kindness and respect, if you have it. Some may say otherwise, but she's a teacher. Yeah, she may tell you that she'll get back to you after she's done grading all tests/quizzes/midterms/worksheets, but know for sure that she will get back to you. She is a human being just like everybody else. Out of most teachers that I have had for math, and math is not my favorite subject, nor is it my best, she is one of the sweetest teachers I know. Give her a chance.
Course highlights:
I learned that if you study smart, prioritize yourself, and learn many ways to study, to see what fits best, I believe one can do so well in any subject. Since math isn't my favorite, and not my best, I had to push myself to want to aim high; and by doing that I had to study as much as I can to understand the material so that anytime I hear about what I've learned, I know how to do it, solve it, or know what the heck that person says when speaking of statistics.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
My studying tip is that after you've taken class notes, go over the material and class notes and rewrite them that helps you understand the material. Even though she allows notes, it's still best to understand and learn the subject beforehand.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
