Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was incredible. It truly opened my mind to what it means to work in a team. Being an athlete, I thought that I had it figured out, but I was wrong. Working in a team or in a group in a professional setting is no easy task, and this class provides an incredible amount of advice as well as techniques that will lead to much more success. We did several activities and group work that forced us to work together as classmates towards a goal, and through adversity we were forced to persevere to receive the grade we wanted. I highly recommend this course and am extremely grateful I got the opportunity to take it.

    Course highlights:

Through twelve weeks of this incredible class, there were several highlights. A few in particular that I can remember include two projects that we got to do. The first one was as a team in groups of four to five people we had to market a product as if we were the company. We had to do research and develop a product and find the best way to sell this product. The second project was very similar. This project we had to create our own personal infomercial for a product that we received on the spot. This improv project was huge highlight because it tested our creativity as well as our critical thinking skills. We learned how to think outside the box as well as find ways to best market products as a team. This class teaches its student to work with others and truly provides an opportunity to make mistakes and become better at them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students taking this course is to go into it open minded and passionate. This course will not be fun if you're not into it. You must want to learn and get better at the specific topic. I feel that I learned so much and got so much better at working with others. Enjoy the ability to make mistakes in this class and take advantage of the second chances you get!

    Advice for students:

Very annoying but material is easy to study. Lectures are sort of boring.
